CPAP Mask Torture

End the Torture of CPAP Masks
Anyone who’s ever actually used a CPAP mask will attest to the fact that they’d swear the people who designed these machines obviously don’t suffer from Sleep Apnea themselves.  If they did, they would invent something that cures sleep apnea without being subjected to the torture of traditional CPAP masks.

12 Million Americans suffer from sleep apnea, and when they turn to their doctors for help they are often steered towards purchasing an expensive Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) machine which wouldn’t be so bad if the mask wasn’t such a torture to wear.

When we sleep, we tend to move around and CPAP machines require a good seal to work properly so in order to prevent seal leakage, most people have to really tighten the straps on their CPAP masks.  Doing that, however can result in having a sore area around the seal and possibly even reduced circulation to that part of your nose and face.

It’s these kinds of issues that cause people to inevitably give up on CPAP all together and suffer with sleep apnea symptoms, thinking there is no hope.  Leaving sleep apnea untreated, however, can lead to a whopping 30% increase in heart attack or death according to a study conducted by Dr. Neomi Shah, M.D. of Yale University.

It’s studies like these that demonstrate the need for alternatives to CPAP machines and masks, with 50% of those who try CPAP machines giving up on them entirely.

Luckily, there is a breakthrough sleep apnea product called My Snoring Solution available on the market today that offers relief to sleep apnea sufferers.  It was invented by Stephen Matthews, who almost died from obstructive sleep apnea 5 years ago.  His near-death experience inspired him to invent a very simple and much less expensive alternative to CPAP machines.

Stephen’s invention is a jaw supporter device which fits comfortably around your head while you sleep.  It’s much more comfortable than any CPAP mask, and clinical studies have shown it to be effective in reducing sleep apnea and snoring symptoms at night.

I have all the problems you decribe with the cpap mask. But the jaw support device seems kind of expensive to not know if it will work for me. If it worked it would not expensive at all. But I don’t have money to throw away.I have been trying to sleep with a cpap mask for two years now. I also have restless legs which makes it even harder to keep a good seal. I can’t take the meds for restless legs so it seem like I am in a catch twenty-two. I would like to show this device to my sleep Dr. Would also like to know how could you tell if this device was doing what it was needing to do?

Just starting to get used to a CPAP machine. I have always felt that if a company has to disparage another product or solution to make their product seem more attractive, you should stay away from them. In your ads you spend more time talking about the negatives of CPAP than you do the positives of your product, which is why I will steer clear of yours. I have talked to several people who say CPAP saved their lives, and in this respect your advertising borders on being irresponsible. Is there not room for your product and one that has been certified and recommended by thousands of physicians? Are you suggesting that all of these doctors are wrong? Your statistic that 50% of CPAP users cease using the machine altogether is almost certainly a fabrication in my opinion.
